dear oh dear, i had the deal stitched up and one drunked escapade screwed it up

Here I am trying to convince my boss at the nite club that he should advertise with the two premier commercial radio stations in town and someone from the very company I wanted him to spend money with makes a complete dick of themselves and is asked to leave the night club. Although he did so quietly at the end it wasn't before he had made a complete lunkhead of himself. I think he just needs to realise that anyone could be a prospective client and you need to project a good image all the time especially when your sales manager of said radio stations.

the ride there is free so go your hardest

Well the NSW government isn't talking to the Ambulance officers and thus the Ambos have imposed work bans designed to hurt the government financially by not doing paper work and thus people who use the ambulance service will not get charged. The IRC has suggested that the ambulance officers stop this action immediately but the union has decided to wait until Monday before making a decision. The end product is that at least until Monday a ride in the ambulance is free. So I reckon this weekend we will see a run of idiocy because of this fact, lets face it why not go base jumping when you know your medical transport won't cost you if it goes horribly wrong.

don't favour fools and they can take their horses

Ok first thin I should mention is that drinking hopeless amounts of grog is not good for me and i have not done for the some time but my god i did so last night and i am so hung over today its not funny.... tonight i have a club full of people that seem not to be able to understand english, no they are not tourists or from another ethnic back ground just lesser developed creatures that for some reason cause friday was a full moon emerged from some bog or swamp and made there way in here. Its a shame that in todays society summary executions are frowned upon....

Pope does the right thing and pisses off Pell

You know what I think some people might have missed the reasons why the pope announced the appoligy today at the mass inside St Mary's Cathedral. I'm not catholic but I understand the significance of todays ceremony, the pope chose this place because it was the biggest congregation of nuns, cardinals and bishops and other catholic clergy from around the nation. He basically from his statement put George Pell on notice that he was distressed by the hurt the church had caused to these people and that they need to work harder to heal these people's wounds.

The people themselves effected want a personal meeting with the pope and they don't feel that todays apology had much meaning to them. Thats fair enough, these people have been through horrific treatment by the hands of people who were people in positions of power and trust. They have a right to be angry, a right to not trust the church and above all a right to be treated with respect and dignity.

So this apology is like the apology to stolen generation it was made in the highest church in Australia witnessed by the officers of the church and reported to the rest of country via the country's media, just like the apology to the stolen generation was made in parliament and witnessed by the elected representatives of the country and reported to the nation by its media.

Pope Benedict 6th broke away from the official speech to give this statement, it did appear that the Cardinal may not have been aware this was going to happen and especially at an event of such significance to the church.

handy work

Its sunday night I am exhausted to the point of now making much sense, I think I have had six hours sleep over the last 48 hours and to be able to do it I can't take my epilim cause it knocks me out solid for 8 hours. Managing my time and finances is annoying me at the moment, I got no time for anything and i'm constantly exhausted but I put on a brave face for everyone and that is the main thing I spose. Arm hasn't been to bad but skipping the tablets is a big gamble because if my body has gotten rid of all the of the reserves in my blood supply before the weekends out I got a hand that is useless to anyone and especially me. Cause it takes at least a day and half to build up again in the system before the pain and the coordination issues start dying back.

grrr

I appoligise to those who may think I have been abducted by aliens, whilst I am sure my mind left for a far away galaxy some time ago it appears I am still here at least in body. Just been working myself into a sleep deprived stupor. Eventually the straws will come out and this camel will have to take a rest, my fear is that it fast approaches. Don't think anything has gone right today and really i have had the week from hell. Somehow my work vehicle got water in the petrol tank, thanks to one of the caltex service stations in port. Could only have been those guys cause work has a caltex charge card and guess what they are the only two in port....

tonight I'm having more fun than someone who has just caught a reproductive appendage in a car door, plighting headache, massively sore hand as the crps is mucking up and to make matters worse I think one of my tablets is not being absorbed correctly as this explains the headache and irritability. I'm not handling idiots well tonight it would seem. Which is wonderful cause the club i work at would seem to be full of gronks, bogans, throwbacks, Neanderthals and lesser advanced protozoa.

Body image- do we really need Kites???????

You know what really annoys me at the moment is the female body image expectation, I have two friends that have eating disorders all caused by bad relationships with boyfriends who can basically look like Neanderthals but expect their females to look like something unrealistic. The end result is a woman who starves herself so she looks like a stunt double for a T-frame kite. But the media has a lot to do with this and the fashion industry doesn't help using tent pegs for models who look like they were basically forged into the clothing they wear on the catwalk.

some pokies are murder to work on

Feeling like shit tonight, hands are giving me hell and i seem to be overly irritable, starting to do well at work again. The 2IC said I did ok servicing the machines he had seen so far... The only issues I have is the Konami Tasman series machines, I can't seem to get into service the buttons as well as I can others i can't get the front rows out.. ah well on monday I need to see if I can ask the boss if there is an easier way to do the button changes

Old people and cars

There is a lot of talk about older drivers on the road. A serious accident in sydney where a woman crashed into a service station has had all the media hound howling for blood. Really, its not her age that needs to be questioned its her cognitive abilities. The issue is that there are more than a few mid thirty year olds with the same cognitive abilities as this elderly lady. Perhaps testing them might be a good idea cause it is only a matter of time before these stupefied creatures do something similar.

Just put yourself in the elderly populations shoes before sticking the boot in
